I’ve been doing a hell of a lot of freelance copy-writing lately, mostly writing complete bollocks about holiday companies, hotels, airlines and all kinds of marketing focused junk.

But today I have a great job, I have to write 6000 words, 12 articles, covering the concept of the agile project life-cycle methodology and why a failing waterfall driven project could benefit by switching to agile.

Another great thing is these articles all follow on, not the usual style where I have to write several articles that say basically the same things. With these I get to explain why a failing project could be saved by switching to agile (specifically Scrum actually) and then go on to explain how they would implement it. I then get to write introductions on extreme programming and Scrum and then a whole set of articles outlining the Scrum life-cycle.

So today is a good day, I’m writing about something I have experience in, shame I can’t do that every day.
