About Me
Not much to tell about me really. I’m 43 years old and live in a small village in the province of Surin in Northeast Thailand, with my girlfriend Nuth and our three year old Son Leon. Below is the kind of scene I see every day in this laid back little village.
For the first twenty four years of my working life, I was heavily involved in the IT industry. Initially I spent nine years as a programmer, before switching into a project management role. Eventually I decided to change course a little, and spent seven years in technical support, before moving into a purely management role at executive level, with a UK based general insurance provider.
At the age of thirty nine, I decided that it was time for a complete change, I figured that twenty four years in IT was long enough for one lifetime. I had always enjoyed writing, so decided to try making a switch to a new career as a freelance writer. This has proven to be an excellent life change, and has been a fun and exciting challenge. I now run a small team of writers, who produce many kinds of website content for a wide range of clients.
I have spent many years travelling around the globe, and have spent most of the past two decades living outside of the UK, in places such as Thailand, Egypt, Israel, Portugal and Spain. I have developed a keen interest in culture and history during the time I has spent travelling, and have found this has served me well in my new career as a writer.
